Personal Information covered under AI
Privacy Policy (Website Tracker Use)
Ai Labs CX Support: Data Privacy & Compliance (GDPR/CCPA)
Our Web Visitors feature is designed to be fully compliant with GDPR regulations. All data captured through the Web Visitors tracker is securely processed and stored using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), which ensures encryption both during transmission and at rest.
Scope of GDPR/CCPA Compliance
Both GDPR and CCPA are intended to protect individual privacy. Ai Labs CX does not share or expose sensitive personal information.
The Ai Labs CX platform identifies business entities (B2B) and provides contact details for company representatives found through publicly accessible sources. All data collected through web scraping is publicly available, and we are happy to provide the original source upon request.
What Data We Collect
We collect anonymized behavioral data from all website visitors, including:
Pages viewed.
Source of the visit (referral data)
Time spent on site
IP address (used to identify the visiting company and geographic region)
To maintain privacy, visits from residential IP addresses are filtered out—only business-related visits are shown.
Guidance for GDPR Compliance
If you’re using the Web Visitors feature and wish to remain GDPR compliant, we recommend the following:
Clearly disclose your use of Web Visitors anywhere you mention the use of Google Analytics or similar tracking tools.
Include the Web Visitors tool in your cookie and tracking disclosures.
If you choose to remove the Web Visitors tracking script from your Ai Labs CX account, all associated visitor data will be automatically deleted to ensure full compliance.
Understanding Personal Data
Here are some key takeaways from GDPR’s definition of personal data:
Personal data refers to any information that can directly or indirectly identify an individual.
This includes details like names, phone numbers, IP addresses, and cookie identifiers.
Even pseudonymized data (where identifiers are masked) still falls under the definition of personal data.
Truly anonymous data that cannot be traced back to a person is not considered personal data under GDPR.
Whether data qualifies as personal depends on the context, purpose of processing, and potential for identification.
